Vegan Burger Steak

Sharing with you this easy Burger Steak recipe the whole family will surely love.❤

1 500 g pack The Good Choices BURGER PATTIES
1/4 cup oil
2 tablespoons vegan butter
1/4 cup onions, chopped
2/3 cup shiitake or button mushrooms, sliced
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup liquid seasoning
2 1/2 cups water
1/2 teaspoon course sea salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1. Pre-heat oil on a nonstick pan over medium heat. Sear the BURGER PATTIES until evenly browned on both sides. Set aside.
2. In the same pan, add the vegan butter and sauté the onions until translucent. Add the mushrooms and cook until color darkens one shade.
3. Remove pan from the flame and add all-purpose flour, stirring immediately and thoroughly to make a roux. Bring back the pan to low fire, add liquid seasoning, water, salt, and pepper.
4. Increase temperature and bring to a boil, stirring constantly until desired consistency is achieved. Serve on top of burger patties. Best enjoyed with steamed rice or mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
